Basic Manners Classes
We offer Basic Manners for Puppies and Adult dogs. We will be teaching Sit, Down, Stay, Polite Greeting (no jumping), Loose Leash Walking and Recalls (Come when called).
Level 2 Manners
For dogs and their owners who want to continue to build on the skills learned in Basic Manners.
Classes meet for one hour, once a week for 6 weeks and cost $160 per dog/owner team.
We use Clicker Training in our classes. Clicker Training uses positive rewards for behavior we want, instead of correcting or punishing behaviors that we don't want. It allows owners to develop a strong, positive relationship with their dogs, and...it's fun and effective!

Dog Training at Wags!
We are excited to have Carol Watkins as our Trainer.
She has over 12 years of experience training dogs in the greater Boston area, and is an Instructor at North Shore Community College in the Animal Care Program. Carol will be teaching our group classes, and Kaleena Hildonen, our Manager, will be assisting her. Carol is also available for Private Behavioral Consultations, here at Wags or at your home. Day Care Training
Let us train your dog for you, while they are here for Day Care!
Are you busy, and find it hard to make to our 6-week long classes? Carol and Kaleena can work with your dog, one-on-one, and teach the behaviors that you need help with. They will then meet with you and your dog to show you what your dog has learned.
Introductory Package:
- 4 one-on-one training sessions for your dog while at daycare
- Plus one 1/2 hour session for you and your dog with our Trainers
- Our Trainers will focus on 2 or 3 behaviors that you request. The 1/2 hour session at the completion of the 4 daycare sessions will allow us to show you how you can continue working at home.
- Special Introductory pricing valid thru September 30th: $100 for all 5 sessions
- Accepting new day care training clients on Monday and Friday mornings
